Technical training marathon
In early October AD Baltic organised a series of technical trainings in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, which offered our clients a great opportunity to deepen their knowledge of working with specific car parts and learn the latest news directly from the suppliers.

Autumn is a very busy season for all of us in the aftermarket industry business. It’s a time when customer activity increases. In early October AD Baltic organised a series of technical trainings in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, which offered our clients a great opportunity to deepen their knowledge of working with specific car parts and learn the latest news directly from the suppliers.

On October 6th we held a training together with SKF. The water pumps were reviewed along with timing and auxiliary belt systems and wheel bearings.  A charismatic technical trainer Tomasz Ochman tried to prove to the participants that not always the short lifespan of a product is manufacturing defect. The significance of timely and quality information on the installation was emphasised as well as attention drawn to the importance of using professional tools.

The learning process continued with SACHS. We invited our guest from Germany – ZF Services engineer Waldemar Shulz who gave us a lot of valuable information about one of the most complex car mechanisms – a clutch. Waldemar explained the dual-mass flywheel technology and features, together with our customers looked at the possible damages and fault diagnostics. Some specific attention was paid to the clutch with wear compensation system Xtend. The training was highly evaluated and rewarded with a round of applause.

Next on the agenda were two more trainings – from our suppliers SIDEM and KYB. Different suppliers, different areas of expertise, but one goal – to come out of the lecture room enriched with knowledge. SIDEM representative Stijn Vanhoutte presented the brand's history, production features and the achievements of the company's research and development centre, drawing attention to SIDEM special design tire rod end and dust cover.

Perhaps no one prepares for the trainings as seriously and as Arkadiusz Szuter from KYB Europe – the first time we got to see that many demonstrational spare parts in one conference room.  Together with the help of KYB representatives from Ukraine Arkadiusz presented not only general information about KYB manufactured goods but also provided thorough shock absorber and spring structure analysis as well as real installation instructions for certain selected car models.

AD Baltic will continue to offer its clients free of charge opportunities to meet aftermarket industry professionals with a mission to deliver them the most up to date knowledge on spare parts, thus improving the quality of service provided to the end user.
