Impressions from this year's ADI Summ!t
AD International annual summit summarises the work accomplished and rewards suppliers of the year.
On April 20-21st Mechelen city in Belgium held the annual ADI Summ!t which every year brings together not only AD partners from 35 countries around the world, but also our business partners and suppliers. The mission of the event is to review and summarise yearly results of AD International, share valuable tips and experience and build stronger links between all ADI partners and suppliers.
The audience was greeted by the ADI President Thomas Vollmar. A special guest was invited to hold a speech at the summit – a famous journalist, the author of provocative books on evolution, genetics and society, Matt Ridley. He argues that human beings’ ability to connect, collaborate and work together towards common goals gives us an often underestimated capacity for change and social progress. Matt Ridley wished AD partners to cooperate and use these abilities for successful development. It seems that Mr Ridley’s words were heard, as it was officially announced that AD International is expanding yet again with a new member joining the group – AD Denmark.
The crucial part of the ADI Summ!t was a meeting with suppliers. That was a great opportunity to discuss current issues and future plans face to face. Every year ADI organises the traditional supplier awarding ceremony. This year, Javier Rodrigo from TRW company was granted with “Aftermarket Professional of the Year” award, whereas “Supplier of the Year” was presented to NISSENS. These awards are the result of all ADI members’ supplier evaluation and gratitude for their quality and professional work.

AD Baltic will continue to improve all of these areas and will endeavour to remain a reliable partner for our customers," – the priorities determined by AD Baltic Commercial Director Marius Karanauskas after the return from the ADI Summ!t.
